Wal - Mart Foundation : 2006 Scholarship Opportunities

November 8, 2005 - Posted in Scholarship

Each year students of all ages and all backgrounds are reaching for their dreams of going to college. The Walton Family Foundation and Wal-Mart Foundation help provide these opportunities through various education initiatives such as the scholarship programs. Last year alone, Wal-Mart and SAM’S CLUB’S gave over $45 million for our company-wide education initiative.

The following scholarship programs reflect Sam and Helen Walton’s belief that education should be a fundamental commitment of Wal-Mart. Over the years, our customers have told us the same thing.

Below are four scholarship opportunities and the basic qualifications to be met by the application deadline of January 20, 2006.
