The University of Canterbury Undergraduate Scholarships
November 9, 2005 - Posted in Online Education, Study Abroad The University of Canterbury offers up to eight scholarships per year to international students of exceptional ability entering the first year of a bachelor’s degree. The value of these scholarships is NZ$4,000 per year for three years. There is no separate application form.
To be considered for a scholarship, candidates must have been accepted for entry in their chosen course and have pre-enrolled by 31 December 2005.
A-level students from UK:
For 2006 two of the University’s international undergraduate scholarships have been set aside for students from the UK wishing to gain their bachelor’s degrees at the University, commencing in February 2006. I am a student who just completed my IGCSE’S and am currently waiting for my results. I would like it if you would consider me for your undergraduate scholarship for next year 2007.
I feel that I am worthy of the scholarship because in my Mock results I had outstanding reuslts as I got 3A*S AND 3As. I also have been awarded many certificates for writing excellent poems and short stories. I also am an charismatic and influential leader of my peers.
