Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students at The University of Newcastle upon Tyne

International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships (IUMS) for international students who study for their first degree at Newcastle. All applicants are considered, based on the information given on their UCAS application form. This partial scholarship has a value of £1,500 for the first year of study.
To be eligible for an IUMS scholarship, international students :
- Must have applied through UCAS before 30 June 2006 and been offered a place to study on one of our undergraduate degree programmes (except medicine and dentistry - applicants to these programmes are not eligible)
- Must have been assessed as overseas for fees purposes
- Have already achieved or will achieve an agreed level of academic performance in their pre-university qualifications
- Have already accepted or will accept Newcastle University as their first choice university.
In addition, some schools offer bursaries to international students on certain degree programmes. The university also offers International Family Discounts (IFD).
