Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, write an essay of approx. 500 words on an assigned topic, attach copies of exhibits of achievement in scholarship, leadership, community service, or other activities, include one letter of recommendation from a high school teacher and one from a responsible community member who is not from your high school, completed counselor report, family financial report and statement, and completed application. Applications are available in the counseling office or online at www.elks.org. Applicants can either personally hand carry or mail applications to the Tooele Elks Lodge No. 1673, at 61 N. Main St. Tooele, UT 84074. No application will be accepted after 5 p.m. on Jan. 14. To hand deliver, please call 435-882-2048 between 12-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

There is a separate application available for students interested in applying to a technical/vocational school, special needs students, or are attending an alternative high school.
