ASHRAE Scholarships Available for 2006-2007
November 26, 2005 - Posted in ScholarshipThe ASHRAE Scholarship Program is designed to encourage and assist in the education of men and women pursuing a career in the field of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R) through its granting of scholarships and fellowships. The program also serves the public interest by aiding in the education of men and women to become qualified to practice as engineers in the HVAC&R field.
UNDERGRADUATE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS – APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1
Available to undergraduate college/university students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study, which traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for a career in HVAC&R. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or one that is substantially equivalent in countries outside the U.S.A., and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest. For a list of ABET-accredited programs by school, go to the ABET website at http://www.abet.org. Applications, including all supporting documentation, must be postmarked no later than December 1. Applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they qualify. Re-applications accepted from former scholarship recipients and applicants. Recipients are selected at the Society’s Winter Meeting in January with funds available for study in the following academic year beginning in the fall. All applicants are notified of the results shortly after recipients are named.

Im a mechanical engineering from Birzeit University and my major in power engineering and work for one year as mechanical engineering for HVCA system and I love to know more about that systems and get scholarship for continue my knowledge
