Ronald McDonald House offering scholarships
December 26th, 2005 - Posted in ScholarshipRonald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area is offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors from local communities who face limited access to educational and career opportunities.
The deadline for submitting applications is Jan. 17.
New to the scholarship program this year, students of all backgrounds are eligible to apply by submitting only one scholarship application, which will include the Asian-Pacific Students Increasing Achievement Scholarship, African American Future Achievers Scholarship, and Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources, and the General Scholarship.
Currently enrolled high school seniors who are eligible to attend a two-year or four-year college or university with a complete course of study may apply. A limited number of applications is being distributed to all New York Tri-State high schools; however, students can download the application by visiting www.mcdonaldsnymetro.com.
