Deadline for HCE Scholarships is March 31
The Green County Home and Community Educators (HCE) will be offering up to four scholarships in 2006 to help county high school and college students pursue an education in a field that relates to HCE’s mission.

The Green County HCE, formerly the Green County Homemakers, has been in existence in the county since the 1940s. With more than 120 members county-wide, its mission is to provide continuing education for members and others on issues that will strengthen families and communities, develop and improve leadership skills, build coalitions with other organizations and agencies that have similar objectives and concerns for families and promote friendships and understanding with all people of the world.

An applicant must be a Green County resident, graduate of a Green County high school or a relative of a Green County HCE member and must be enrolled or accepted in a university or technical school.
