American Legion Auxiliary Howard McCarty Unit #290 of Cambridge has distributed the following college scholarship application forms to the guidance offices of Cambridge-Isanti High School and Braham Area High School:

American Legion Auxiliary Howard McCarty Unit #290 Scholarships - Two scholarships, $1,000 each for Cambridge-Isanti High School and one scholarship, $1000 for Braham Area High School.

American Legion Auxiliary National President’s Scholarship - One $2,500 scholarship; one $2,000 scholarship, and one $1,000 scholarship. (Must be child of a veteran.)

American Legion Auxiliary Department of Minnesota Scholarships - Seven $1,000 scholarships. (For children or grandchildren of a veteran.)

American Legion Auxiliary Department of Minnesota Past Presidents Parley Health Care Scholarships - Ten $1,000 scholarships. (For members of the American Legion Auxiliary for education in the health care field.)

American Legion Auxiliary Spirit of Youth Scholarship for Junior Members - One four year ($1,000) per year).

Also available is the American Legion Auxiliary Girl Scout Achievement Award - One $1,000 scholarship. (Girl Scout membership and Gold Award required.) Applicant must present the completed application to the local American Legion Auxiliary Unit President on or before Feb. 10.

American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students - One $1,000 scholarship (American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion member.) Applications are available from Cambridge Community College. Due date March 15.
