Barron Electric will award $15,500 in scholarships this spring. One student will receive the Willis Jerome Memorial for Excellence Scholarship for $1,500, and 14 students will receive the Achievement Scholarships valued at $1,000.

Any graduating senior is eligible if he/she attends one of the high schools listed, whose parents or guardians are members of Barron Electric, and plans to attend an institution of post-secondary education. Selection of recipients will be based on scholarship, leadership, service, cooperative and progressive spirit as a student within the community. Scholarship applications will be available in the high schools’ guidance office. Applications must be received in the local guidance office by Feb. 24.
