The Natick Kiwanis Club will award $6,500 in scholarships to residents of Natick who are planning to continue their education at a four-year, degree-granting college or university. Candidates must be full time seniors at any accredited area high school.
Application from Keefe Tech and Natick High School are available at their guidance departments. All other interested students should have their guidance department contact the Natick Kiwanis Club at P.O. Box 293, Natick, MA 01760. Application deadline is April 1.
The scholarships and their amounts are as follows:
John J. Lane Scholarship, based on grades, extra curricular activities, limited to the top 10 percent of the class: $1,500
Daniel J. Davis Scholarship, based on acceptance into an accredited musical degree program or entering study for the performing arts: $1,000
Arthur L. Proctor Scholarship, for students planning to major in medical science such as pharmacology, nursing and veterinary medicine: $1,000
Alan J. Williams Scholarship, for students planning to major in culinary arts or the vocational trades: $1,000
Kenneth A. Shavor Scholarship, open to all graduating seniors: $1,000
Alfred N. Saviano Scholarship, open to all graduating seniors: $1,000
