The Central Texas College (CTC) Foundation is offering numerous scholarship opportunities to students from a variety of backgrounds. Deadline for applying for any of the scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year is March 31, 2006.

More than $150,000 in scholarships is available for up to 130 students this year. “There are at least 115 named endowments and scholarships totaling more than $2.6 million available through the CTC Foundation,” noted Bill Perkison, Foundation director. “Scholarships are available for students from all walks of life. We encourage anyone with interest and a need to apply–many scholarships do not have a grade point average requirement.”

The CTC Agriculture Department Endowed Scholarship - one scholarship will be given based on academics and one based on financial need. Both are valued at $400.

Applications for any CTC Foundation scholarship are being accepted on-line at http://www.ctcd.edu. Students may also call 254-526-1306. The deadline is March 31, 2006.
