The Middlesex District Attorney Interships for law students

February 2, 2006 - Posted in Scholarship

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office has created a limited number of paid internships in the memory of former Assistant District Attorney Craig Brown. These internships will be available to second-year law students, for the summer of 2006.

Craig Brown, formerly of Wellesley, served as Assistant District Attorney for two years before his tragic and untimely passing in December 2002 as the result of a brain aneurysm.

As in past years, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office also has several unpaid internships available to first or second year law students. Applicants should note on their application forms if they wish to be considered for an unpaid position if they are not selected for a Craig Brown Internship. This will have no bearing on the application process.

Application forms are available on the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office Web site, at www.middlesexda.com or by e-mailing Kathryn Norton, at kathryn.norton@state.ma.us
Incomplete applications may not be considered. All application materials must be sent to: Sheila Calkins, Deputy Second Assistant District Attorney, Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, 40 Thorndike St., Cambridge, MA 02141.
