Fairview Scholarships
February 3, 2006 - Posted in ScholarshipFairview Health Services is dedicated to empowering the future leaders of Minnesota pursuing a career in healthcare. Two $500 scholarship opportunities are available to high school students entering an accredited college or a technical school health care program.
The scholarship is open to: African-American, Hispanic, Asian-American, Native-American students, and students with disabilities, who are high school students in their senior year with a GPA of 3.0 or better, and have been accepted and enrolled in an accredited college or technical school health care education program.
Eligible candidates will also be judged for leadership potential, and from a 500-word essay (typed, double spaced) describing what health care career they plan on pursing and why they want to work in health care.
Interested candidates should submit the essay, along with a cover sheet with name, home address, phone number and e-mail address of the student. Also include the name of the college of technical school and program that the student will attend after high school.
Also include two letters of recommendation, and a letter or other form of documentation indicating acceptance/enrollment in an accredited college or technical school healthcare education program.

All materials must be complete and received by May 10, 2006 to be considered for the scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
