The Lincoln County Family and Community Education Council is offering two scholarships for students from Lincoln County.

The $300 Agriculture/Family & Consumer Science scholarship is provided for any high school senior from Lincoln County who plans to pursue a degree in family & consumer science or agriculture at an accredited four year college in Nebraska or at an affiliate institution such as the University of Nebraska-College of Technical Agriculture - Curtis.

The $100 Medical Scholarship is available to any high school senior or college student from Lincoln County pursuing a certificate or degree in a medical field at an accredited Nebraska Institution of higher education.

Applications for both scholarships are available from high school counselors or at the University of Nebraska extension office, 115 West 4th, North Platte. Deadline for application is March 1.
