The Malayalee Engineers’ Association (MEA) of Houston, Texas, the US has announced the names of the students who have been selected for the MEA scholarships for engineering students.

Seven awards have been offered for B.Tech/B.Arch students. The award winners are Ayyappadas.P (College of Engineering, Trivandrum), Bibin A.Babu (College of Engineering, Trivandrum), Sinith.P (College of Engineering, Trivandrum), Sisil John (College of Engineering, Trivandrum), Ajeesh.K (College of Engineering, Trivandrum), Al Ameer (Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam), Joice Mathew (College of Engineering, Adoor).

The Malayalee Engineers’ Association of Houston is a professional, non-profit and non-political organisation of engineering graduates of Malayalee origin.

The MEA started a scholarship programme in 2000 to help the students in Kerala pursue engineering, technology, computer science or naval architecture studies leading to a Bachelors degree. For more details visit the website http://www.meahouston.org.
