Students who plan to attend Gaston College for the 2006-07 academic year and major in art are encouraged to apply for the Jeanne Rauch Art Scholarship through the Gaston College Foundation.

Selection for the two $750 awards is based on artistic talent and financial need.

Candidates must complete an application, provide an essay explaining their career plans and submit three pieces of art in any media. Applications are available at www.gaston.edu, in the Financial Aid office on the Dallas campus or in the dean’s office on the Lincoln and Belmont campuses.
