LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP — Sarah Jerrell of Lawrence Central High School and Brandon M. Scott of Lawrence North High School were among 29 area high school students honored Feb. 10 by the Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis.

The students received awards from the 31st annual Abe Lincoln Scholarship program. The awards, which totaled $37,500, were given to students who have overcome significant obstacles in their lives to achieve success.
