The Penn Hills PTA/PTC scholarship committee is sponsoring a district-wide volleyball tournament at 6:30 p.. on Friday, Feb. 24, in the Penn Hills High School gymnasium.

Teams will be comprised of PTA/PTC members, teachers, principals and staff from each of the eight Penn Hills schools, as well as teams of transportation, plant services and administrative staff members.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Tournament play begins at 6:30.

Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for students. All elementary students must be accompanied by an adult.

Food and refreshments will be sold. A Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle will be held.

All proceeds will benefit the PTA/PTC Council Scholar-ship Fund.

Scholarships will be awarded to students at the annual scholarship awards night on May 3.
