P.E.O. offers scholarship
February 28th, 2006 - Posted in Education, ScholarshipChapter M of P.E.O. has available a $500 scholarship grant to a Rush County woman continuing her higher education. This scholarship, the Joan Bosse Continuing Education Grant, is awarded to a Rush County woman who has had her higher education interrupted, but is now pursuing a college or technical degree.
The grant is given in memory of member Joan Bosse. P.E.O. supports higher education endeavors for women.
Applications are available from Cindy Taff (932-2872). Completed applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2006.
The award will be presented at the business meeting May 8. The grant recipient will be invited and should plan to attend that meeting.
