A North Country businessman has established five annual scholarships for students attending Jefferson Community College.

Watertown native and owner of Jreck Subs, Christopher Swartz, established the Jreck Subs Ultimate Opportunity Scholarship Program.

The scholarships will provide full tuition, books and fees for five JCC students.

The scholarships will be made available to students beginning in the fall 2006 semester.
