The James S. Barton Jr. Emerging Artist Fund is offering a scholarship of $1,000 or more.

The scholarship is available to students graduating from Arlington or Rhinebeck high schools who are applying to a state-accredited college or university leading to a degree in either visual or performing arts.

Scholarships are also available to students applying to Dutchess Community College or graduating DCC students applying to a four-year school.

The application deadline is April 29.
