Canton Preservation Society is offering a $1,000 scholarship to Stark County residents or graduates interested in the study of historic preservation or a related field, including building preservation, history, architecture, American studies, urban planning or museum studies.

Applications can be downloaded from www.cantonpreservation.com or obtained through the society at (330) 452-9341.

The application deadline is April 30.
