For students who earned a GED

The Mayor’s Literacy Commission of Canton will award $500 scholarships to qualified general education development (GED) graduates who wish to continue their educations at a college, university or vocational or technical program.

Applicants must be Stark County residents who have obtained their GED between June 1, 2005, and June 30, 2006.
