BPW organization awards scholarships, plans events

The Eaton Rapids Business and Professional Women awarded $1,000 scholarships to Kathy Quinn and Tham Doan at its April 17 meeting. The BPW scholarships are awarded to women over 25 who are enrolled in a program for advanced education or vocational training. Foundation grants Wayland Baptist $50,000 to fund nursing scholarships

Wayland Baptist University’s scholarship committee announced that its has received funding for $50,000 in scholarships from the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio.

PBCC receives more than $8,600 for nursing and health care scholarships

Palm Beach Community College was recently awarded $8,608 for scholarships as part of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida’s (BCBSF) $2.5 million initiative to tackle the severe nursing shortage.

Canton Preservation Society Scholarship to Stark County

Canton Preservation Society is offering a $1,000 scholarship to Stark County residents or graduates interested in the study of historic preservation or a related field, including building preservation, history, architecture, American studies, urban planning or museum studies.

Three area students get 4-H scholarships
