People continue to donate in memory of Greece native Brian Schramm. The Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. was killed in Iraq a year and a half ago. Wednesday night, people gathered at the McDonald’s on West Ridge Road to raise money for a scholarship fund in Schramm’s honor. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sales Wednesday night went to the “Service Above Self Scholarship Fund”, which provides $1,500 to a senior at Greece Olympia High School. The high school was Schramm’s alma mater and the high school he used to return to to talk about his career in the military.
