Cal Aggie Alumni scholarship
May 31, 2006 - Posted in ScholarshipWilliam Cook has been awarded the Cal Aggie Alumni Association Scholarship to attend UC Davis for Fall 2006. He plans to major in Environmental and Resource Science. William will graduate from Yreka High School in June. He is the son of Jim and Ann Cook from Montague.
The Cal Aggie Alumni Scholarship is one of the oldest scholarships in the University of California system, dating back to 1934, and is completely alumni supported. Alumni scholars are interviewed and chosen by local UC Davis alumni on the basis of their UC application and a special essay focusing on their leadership skills.
Local UC Davis alumni serving on the Siskiyou, Modoc and Trinity counties committee were Monet Allen and Jerry Jereb.
