California Credit Union Announces Winners of Second Annual College Scholarship Program

California Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of its second annual California Credit Union College Scholarship Program. In an awards ceremony on Saturday, June 3, the credit union awarded $1,000 college scholarships to 35 deserving students. Two of the winners are already California Credit Union members.

Begun in 2005 with 25 scholarships, the California Credit Union College Scholarship Program has been expanded by adding an additional 10 scholarships. In addition, for the first time continuing and graduating students at any of the nine Los Angeles Community Colleges now qualify for the program.

Congratulating the students, California Credit Union Board of Directors Chairman Dr. Francis Nakano noted, “We are proud to support these students in their pursuit of higher education and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
