Students earn National Merit Scholarships

The following local students were awarded college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships:

• Matthew C. Baldwin, a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, received a scholarship to attend Purdue University where he plans to study engineering.

• Craig E. Jackson, a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, received a scholarship to attend Ball State University where he plans to study music technology.

• Brian J. Thomas, a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, received a scholarship to attend Purdue University where he plans to study engineering.

• Claire E. Larew, a graduate of Lawrence North High School, received a scholarship to attend the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where she plans to study mechanical and electrical engineering.

• Andrew O. Mouser, a graduate of Lawrence North High School, received a scholarship to attend Indiana University where he plans to study business and law.

• Jonathan A. Vogt, a graduate of Lawrence North High School, received a scholarship to attend Ball State University where he plans to study music technology.
