Cuba offers Saint Kitts scholarships
As part of cooperation programs with Latin American and Caribbean countries, Cuba has offered students from the island of Saint Kitts scholarships in several university and technical specialties.
The Saint Kitts-Nevis Sun online daily reported on Friday that the offer, made by the Cuban government, was announced by the Cuban embassy in the capital Basseterre. The target group for these courses is young people from low income families, the publication explains.
The scholarships include the specialties of mechanical engineering; industrial engineering; sociology; scientific and technical information; sports, physical education and recreation; automation engineering and architecture.
