Lewis C. Bose Scholarship for Educational Leadership

The deadline to apply for the $2,000 Lewis C. Bose Scholarship for Educational Leadership is July 21. It will be awarded to an Indiana educator who will attend an advanced degree program for education administration in 2007-08.

Bose McKinney & Evans law firm gives the award, which is based on the applicant’s past academic and professional achievements, future goals, potential for leadership and financial need.

John Atha, Noblesville Schools assistant superintendent for personnel, received the scholarship in 2005.

This year’s award committee members select the scholarship winner. They include Dennis L. Costerison, executive director, Indiana Association of School Business Officials; Stephen Heck, executive director, Indiana Association of Principals; Lowell C. Rose, a consultant to the Indiana Urban Schools Association; and John Ellis, executive director, Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents.
