North High School grads receive more than $600,000 in scholarships

Sheboygan North High School students earned more than $600,000 in scholarships during ceremonies recently. alist of the recipients, their scholarships and the totals follows:

Two from Coast earn scholarships

The Sun Herald recently awarded scholarships to two South Mississippi high school graduates interested in journalism careers.
Alex McAdams graduated from Gulfport High School, and Toni Cruthirds graduated from St. John High School. Each received $1,000 to help pay for college.

Tehachapi High School scholarships

More than 60 scholarships were awarded to the graduates of the Tehachapi High School Class of 2006 on June 4.
“We are here to recognize excellence in the academics,” said THS Principal Michael Arredondo. “We have over $100,000 in local scholarships and well over $500,000 from outside our community.”
Counselor Dennis Ruggles then presented the class valedictorians.

Martinsville National Guardsmen receive scholarships

Midland athletes secure scholarships

Christina Rountree was so tired Saturday that she could barely walk — which wasn’t too much different than her physical state over a month ago.

A Mt. Tahoma High School senior has received the first scholarship awarded in the memory of murdered police chief’s wife.

Money raised for Vol State scholarship

A total of $11,236 has been raised this year for a Volunteer State Community College athletic scholarship through the Michael Tuck Memorial Golf Tourney.
