First Annual Konkel Foundation Scholarship winner announced

Pritchett High School senior Shiloh Wittler has been awarded the first annual Konkel Foundation Scholarship. Wittler is the son of Karen Brock of Pritchett.
This scholarship assistance is $1,000 a year for a maximum of four consecutive years.

Siskiyou County’s 4-H office has announced the 2006 winners of annual 4-H scholarships.
Will Cook, a Montague 4-H All Star, was awarded a $500 scholarship and Janice Bridwell, a Gazelle 4-H All Star earned a $300 scholarship. A third scholarship in the amount of $200 was not awarded this year, since no one applied for it.
