The deadline for applications for the Hannah Fox Memorial Scholarship given by the Garden Club of Clarion County is July 30. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who is currently enrolled in a college or university and plans to further their education in horticulture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, or any closely related course of study.

The Garden Club of Clarion County has awarded four scholarships made available through club fund-raisers. Past recipients of the Hannah Fox Memorial Scholarship were Alexis McCune, Meghan Sara Bubenheim, Clayton Smerkar and Adam C. Crawford.
