WFAA Sports Director Dale Hansen and UNT announce new scholarship program for UNT students

Wicomico Architecture firm awards scholarship

Matthew Clever, a 2006 graduate of Bennett High School was recently awarded a $1,000 architectural/engineering 2006 Scholarship by Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., Architects, Engineers, and Surveyors. Max Verbits, AIA of the Architectural Group of Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., presented the award to Clever at the Bennett High School awards ceremony.

Rotary fund oncology scholarship

The Rotary Club of Mudgee has announced it is providing a $5,000 scholarship to train a nurse in oncology for Mudgee Hospital.
At present the hospital brings two nurses from Dubbo to provide chemotherapy services to oncology patients.
