Michael Watts of Oak Park received a $5,000 scholarship in honor of Teradyne Inc. cofounder, Peter Hashem.

Scholarship honors broadcaster

Friends of late radio pioneer Ralph Epperson and his widow have donated money to a Galax-based foundation to create a scholarship in his name.
