New Black Scholarship Guide Helps Parents Locate Financial Aid Opportunities
August 3, 2006 - Posted in Education News, ScholarshipThe 2006-2007 Black Scholarship Guide, published by Diversity City Media, is helping parents all over the country save money on tuition and books for their children.
The guide is a print and e-book directory that features the top 100 scholarships and grants for African American students.
It was created in response to a growing epidemic of Black students and parents not responding to (or even being aware of) available financial aid opportunities.

So far, 500 copies of the book have been sold.
Dante Lee, CEO of Diversity City Media, comments, “We are receiving great feedback from Black parents and educators, and they all feel that our guide is an excellent tool. Many are saying that they never knew such opportunities existed.”
