Bemidji NTC partners with Marco for scholarship, intern program
Marco, a St. Cloud business, recently established the Northwest Technical College (NTC) Scholarship-Intern Program.
Marco selected NTC as a partner to help hire future skilled sales specialists in various areas of technology solutions.
Program highlights include 50 percent second year tuition reimbursement, a paid internship and a sales position offer after successfully completing the sales marketing and management program at NTC.
Applicants for the Marco scholarship and intern program should be first year sales and marketing management students who are talented in sales techniques, excited about technology and are seeking a long-term career as a sales representative with Marco. Up to two students will be selected each year for this program.
“We believe people are our most important asset, and we’re committed to supporting the education of NTC alumni,” said Jeff Gau, Marco president. “Skilled sales professionals help build Marco’s future and are an integral part of our 100 percent employee-owned company.”
Provost Giammona said NTC is excited about the new program for sales and marketing learners.
“Marco’s invitation to become a training partner validates NTC’s strong business division and is an example of how NTC educates the future regional work force,” he said.
