Twin Lakes Farm and Lawn Scholarship
August 31st, 2006 - Posted in Education, ScholarshipLisa Bennett of Gassville is the 2006-2007 recipient of the Twin Lakes Farm and Lawn Scholarship at Arkansas State University Mountain Home.
Bennett graduated summa cum laude from ASUMH with an associate of applied science degree in business technology, management/marketing and is pursuing an associate of arts degree. Upon completion of her associate degree, she plans to obtain a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
The Twin Lakes Farm and Lawn Scholarship was created in recognition of Danny Montgomery and Twin Lakes Farm and Lawn for providing the college use of mowing equipment valued at $120,000. The business sold in 2006 to Dale Hershberger who has continued the tradition of support established by Montgomery.
