On behalf of the five member scholarship selection committee, we thank all those who participated in this year’s HHG Health and Wellness Education Scholarship Fund.

Hawaii Health Guide is pleased to announce the 2006 scholarship award recipients:

Deborah Lee Rabarra (Shapiro), Lahaina, HI

Decisions were based on criteria agreed upon by the judging committee:
1. Demonstrated commitment to purpose/dedication
2. Diversification
3. Financial Need
4. Future contributions to the collective
5. Life experience/maturity
6. Academic achievement
7. Community Service

We also realize that all the candidates showed such worth and we only wish that we could support them all.
