The Luzerne County Community College Foundation Inc. recently held an Italian Heritage Academic and Language/Culture Scholarship luncheon at Our Lady of Mr. Carmel Parish Center, Pittston. The purpose of the luncheon was to promote scholarship giving by way of donations and pledges. Dr. Dustin Swanger, provost and vice president of academic affairs at LCCC, discussed future plans for the college. The luncheon included traditional Italian foods and desserts.
