Scholarship honours famous Guelph actor

Guelph’s favourite acting son, Terry Doyle, will continue to impact the local theatre community through a scholarship program established in his memory in conjunction with the Guelph Community Foundation.

GFGL releases funds for scholarship beneficiaries

Gold Fields Ghana Limited (GFGL) has presented a cheque for 320 million cedis to 24 scholarship beneficiaries at a ceremony at Tarkwa.

Young musician wins Terfel prize

A clarinettist from Aberystwyth has won the £4,000 Bryn Terfel Urdd Gobaith Cymru music scholarship award.
Rhys Taylor, 24, who gained a first-class degree at the Royal College of Music in Manchester last year, will use the money for professional tuition to further his career.
