Nirmesh Malviya a student at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, have been selected for Aditya Birla Scholarship for 2007.

The scholarship carries a sum of Rs 65,000 per year for four years besides a certificate and a memento, Prabal Sinha, Dean of student welfare, IIT Kanpur said adding that half a dozen other students from the institute have previously bagged the scholarship.

Malviya is a first year student in the department of computer science.
