Scholarship to be created in name of East High tipster

Two weeks after Green Bay East High School senior Matt Atkinson told school officials about an alleged plan to attack the school, a scholarship has been created in his honor.

Merit Scholarship Program Commends Fitch Seniors

Eight Robert E. Fitch High School seniors and one from Stonington High School have been named Commended Students in the 2007 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The Fitch students are Evelyn Ansel, Audrey Dignan, Nicole Freeman, Magen Greenhalgh, Chad Jens, Jessica Neubelt, Shana Yearwood and Darcy Young. The Stonington student is Margaret Banker.

Scholarship for fallen soldier

A scholarship fund has been established to honor the memory of Sgt. Eric McColley, a Gettysburg High School graduate killed while serving in the U.S. Marines.
McColley, 23, died in a helicopter training flight Feb. 17 off the coast of Africa, while participating in U.S.-led counter-terrorism missions.

IIT student bags Aditya Birla scholarship for 2007
