Applications sought for WCCF scholarship
November 25th, 2006 - Posted in Education, ScholarshipWisconsin high school students ages 16 to 18 who are active in their school or community can apply for a $1,000 scholarship offered by the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families.
A short application, a 500- to 1,000-word essay and two letters of reference are required. There are no GPA requirements, but current high school transcripts must be presented.
Applications are due in the WCCF office by Dec. 15, using the form listed on the Web at www.wccf.org/projects/youthscholarship.htm.
The scholarship will be awarded at the WCCF 125th anniversary event Jan. 24 in Madison. Attendance is required.
