The Day Kimball Hospital Philanthropy Committee is accepting nominations for their annual health care scholarship.

The Susan Chilkott Memorial Scholarship is awarded to individuals pursuing a career in health care, and is available to residents of Woodstock, Thompson, Ashford, Eastford, Pomfret, Putnam, Chaplin, Hampton, Brooklyn, Killingly, Canterbury, Plainfield and Sterling.

The scholarship application period is Feb. 15 through April 15. Interested applicants can contact their high school guidance office, or call the Day Kimball Hospital Philanthropy and Corporate Communications Office at 928-7141
