The Laramie County Community College Foundation has established a memorial scholarship for Eleanore Louise Wagner Field, a former college employee and former reporter and editor at the Casper Star-Tribune.

Field was the writer-editor of publications at Laramie County Community College from 1986 until 2000.

She died suddenly in December 2006 at the age of 66.

An accomplished writer, Field also worked at the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle in Cheyenne and published several books.

She was an active member of the Republican Party, Wyoming Media Professionals, Ghost Riders and was an accomplished horsewoman.

Scholarship funds collected will be given to journalism or equine students.
