Gulfstream Park Establishes Scholarship to Honor Barbaro

Florida’s Gulfstream Park race track has established a scholarship in his name.
Track executives say the Barbaro Foundation will offer at least $20,000 each year to high school students planning to study veterinary medicine at the University of Florida. Further details are still being sorted out.

LCCC Foundation establishes scholarship honoring longtime journalist

The Laramie County Community College Foundation has established a memorial scholarship for Eleanore Louise Wagner Field, a former college employee and former reporter and editor at the Casper Star-Tribune.
Field was the writer-editor of publications at Laramie County Community College from 1986 until 2000.
