The Fort Myers Beach Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) has announced its annual scholarship awards program for 2007. The deadline for completed forms is Monday, March 19.

“If you are a woman in the workforce who is trying to continue or complete your education and could benefit from some financial assistance for tuition or books, call,” said an organizer of the program.

The Beach ABWA is a professional organization with a mission to provide opportunities for women to grow personally and professionally through leadership, networking, friendship and education.

The group participates in several Beach community activities during the year and hold dinner meetings monthly, held at DiamondHead Beach Resort on the second Tuesday of each month.
