Calhoun Community College is accepting applications for scholarship awards for the 2007-08 academic year. The college is offering more than 300 scholarships, many designed to recruit students into high-demand fields such as nursing, math, science and technology.

The college also has automatic scholarship awards for all valedictorians, salutatorians and students who score 26 or higher on their ACT (American College Test) for the first time.

One application form qualifies a student for consideration to all Calhoun scholarships. To apply, go to www.calhoun.edu and click on the online scholarship application link. Application deadline is March 1. Call 306-2579 for more information.
