Scholarship Program with the Ohio Center for Broadcasting

The amount of the scholarship is $500 awarded on a one time per winner basis towards the tuition cost of the estimated 39 week OCB program.The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a resident of a county within the recognized DMA of the Toledo Market.The selection of the winner will be based on the following:A written essay from each applicant on why they are pursuing a broadcasting education and their goals for their broadcasting career.A personal interview with Management representatives of WNWO.Every applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED certified by OCB.Every applicant must have already been accepted by OCB for admission.The scholarship will be publicized by OCB both at their locations (Cleveland and Cincinnati) and their web site. WNWO will publicize on their web site, possible news story mention and on site applications.WNWO and OCB will develop a scholarship publicity folder with application.

The schedule for the awarding of the scholarship in 2006 will be as follows:

Scholarship application submission-deadline 8/1/06
Application review deadline-deadline 8/15/06
Scholarship awarded-deadline 9/1/06
Applicant must complete an application page and submit the application along with all required documents as indicated in the program outline to:
